Teachers representing the science curriculum in grades 1 through 12 would be attending a workshop that day, and Bush-to-Base Bioinformatics was on the agenda! After going through a PowerPoint presentation on the program and working everyone through one module, it was time to field questions. As you can see in the photo, Dr. Kaur and I ended up with quite a few questions….roughly 30 minutes worth actually. We received a lot of positive feedback on the program and are working to upload more modules, coordinate the modules with the Virginia SOLs, and integrate more math skills into the science based modules.
